A: First e-mail or call
us with your enquiry. We will then arrange to come and see you at home,
to meet you and your pet face-to-face and discuss your requirements.
We understand you have hectic schedules so we are flexible about the
times we can arrange this initial visit to fit in easily with your diary.
We will discuss your pet’s routine and any care needs with you.

A: Yes, we are flexible.
Our aim is to give you and your dog a quality service that meets your
needs.
Q:
Do you only look after dogs?
A: No, we offer home visits
for cats and other small animals such as rabbits, birds, fish, to check
their wellbeing, scoop litter tray, feed and water, so do email or call
us to find out how we can help you.
Q:
Do I need to provide poo bags for my dog’s walk?
A: Yes, poo bags are required
for every visit. 2 bags per dog should be left with the lead ready for
the walk.
Q:
Do I need to provide towels for the dog walker to towel down
my dog on return from the walk?
A: Yes, this ensures your
pet is clean and dry and your house is also kept the same. Please provide
one good sized towel per dog.
Q:
Will I get feedback on what my pet has been up to?
A: Yes. When we are caring
for your pets, we will complete a daily visit report
to keep you up to date with what your pet has been up to while you were
away. This is a great way for you to feel involved, especially if you're
working long hours.
The daily
visit report will be left for you for your return. We can also
text you if you require a daily report if you are away for more than
a day at a time.
Q: Do you charge
for travel to my house and back?
A: Yes we do. We charge

per household.

Travel

Q:
What hours to you work?
A: We work 8.00
am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Out of Hours, weekends and

How do I pay?
A: We ask for payment

left for you. After discussion, regular customers can
receive a 14 day account, payment due by the 14th day and to be left
in cash or cheque as above.
Q:
What if I need to cancel?
A: We ask that you call
48 hours before your scheduled booking to cancel any
services, so that this enables us to take on other work. Cancellations
outside of the 48 hour period will be charged at the full price.
Please however give us as much notice as possible especially if you
have holidays booked into the future so we can plan other jobs.
Q:
What do you do in case of emergency?
A: We always discuss with
clients what process they would like to follow in the event of an emergency
while you are on holiday or at work. This includes obtaining a secondary
contact (eg. parent, friend or neighbour) and your veterinary practice
details of where your pet is registered. We will call you first to discuss
the situation and recommended course of action. If we are unable to
contact you and medical attention is required urgently we will take
your pet to the nearest veterinary surgery. You will need to pay the
veterinary fees direct to the practice.
Q:
What security measures do you have in place?
A: We take security seriously
and ensure your details are kept confidential and keys are held in a
safe and secure place or a spare key can be left for our use. We can
keep your spare key for the times when you may suddenly need our services,
for example you are returning home much later than you had anticipated.
Q:
Do you provide a dog boarding/sitting service if I am away overnight?
A: If you are going away
on holiday, whether it be for a weekend or longer period of time, we
do not provide a pet sitting service and do not walk dogs that are left
alone overnight as we feel it is inappropriate to the animal’s
wellbeing for them to be left alone during that time.
We would strongly advise you to seek alternative arrangements for your
dogs if you are away overnight. Perhaps consider a pet sitter or a kennel
environment for your dog during this time. Your local vet will be able
to recommend a suitable person or company for this type of service.
